Take a trip with a boy named Wayne into a special dream. Wayne was reading a book that he got from his teacher about African American inventions. His interest was sparked on the way to school when he found out that the traffic signal was invented by, an African American. So he wanted to know all about African American inventions. Falling asleep while reading, Wayne’s last words were, "I wonder what would the world be like without African American Inventions?” Then came the dream.
Throughout the day he noticed that particular things used daily weren’t there. It became challenging for him to go about the day as he did any other."
